  • Real name is Shelton Jackson Lee
  • Lee's independent film, 'Joe's Bed-stuy Barbershop:We Cut Heads' was the first student film to be showcased in Lincoln's New directors/films festival
  • Lee met his wife, Tonya Lewis in 1992 and they got married a year later. They have a daughter named Satchel (born in 1992) and a son named Jackson (1997)
  • Spike has made films based off of a lot of controversial topics
